CASE STUDY
Randolph-Macon Academy
Reputation was not translating into donations, but with guidance, an initial lofty goal was quickly surpassed.
Despite its national standing as the oldest Air Force co-ed boarding school, R-MA’s major fundraising efforts had engendered limited success in the decades leading up to our engagement.

We were asked to conduct a feasibility study on behalf of a campaign for capital projects, endowment, and debt reduction. Utilizing data mining and engaging a strong group of campaign leaders, the campaign began with an initial $3.5 million goal, which was later upped to $5 million before a newly identified prospect became a mid-seven figure donor. By the end of our campaign management role, R-MA had surpassed a stretch $10 million goal and was engaging hundreds of alumni and parent donors along the way.
